Role Overview
We are looking for a Principal Process Improvement Consultant to join our team, focusing on the transformation of processes across various business units. In this strategic role, you will leverage your expertise in process optimization to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational effectiveness for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, develop actionable plans, and lead change initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive assessments of existing processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement across organizational functions
- Design and implement innovative process improvement strategies utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to engage stakeholders and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure the success of process initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing support and alignment with their strategic goals
- Mentor and guide junior consultants in process improvement methodologies and project management best practices
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in process improvement consulting or operational excellence roles
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale process improvement initiatives that have resulted in measurable business impact
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt), or similar process improvement methodologies
- Experience in change management and organizational development
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in process mapping and modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, JIRA)
