Role Overview
We are looking for a visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our medical strategy and ensure that our clinical programs align with our mission to innovate healthcare delivery. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, shaping health policies, and driving the clinical research agenda to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the clinical strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Oversee clinical operations, including the management of clinical trials and adherence to best practices in patient care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in healthcare delivery and optimize clinical pathways
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and industry partners
- Provide strategic guidance on clinical policies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Mentor and develop clinical leadership teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in a relevant specialty
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical setting, including experience in a CMO role or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing clinical strategies that drive patient care improvements
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical research processes, and quality assurance
Preferred:
- Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven healthcare environment
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration, public health, or business administration
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in clinical research methodologies and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare analytics tools
- Knowledge of telemedicine platforms and digital health innovations
