Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Pediatrician to join our innovative healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will provide comprehensive care to children, partnering with families to ensure optimal health outcomes and navigate the complexities of pediatric healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and guidelines
- Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and developmental screenings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Utilize telemedicine technologies to conduct virtual consultations and follow-ups while ensuring patient privacy and compliance with regulations
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in a primary care pediatric setting
- Fellowship training in a pediatric subspecialty
- Experience in a remote or telehealth environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems to document patient encounters and manage care
- Familiarity with telemedicine software and platforms for virtual consultations
- Knowledge of current pediatric guidelines and best practices in primary care
