Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power Plant Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our power generation facilities. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the efficient and safe operation of the plant, optimize performance metrics, and lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence while adhering to environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the power plant to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee maintenance scheduling and execution, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled team of engineers and maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement technology upgrades and process improvements.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Deep understanding of power generation systems, including turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with renewable energy systems and sustainable technologies.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
