Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Poultry Pathologist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will assist in diagnosing avian diseases, contributing to research, and supporting our mission to enhance poultry health and productivity through scientific advancements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic examinations of poultry specimens, including necropsies and histopathology, to identify diseases and conditions affecting avian populations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of research projects focusing on poultry health, disease prevention, and control strategies.
- Collaborate with senior pathologists and veterinary teams in analyzing results and preparing comprehensive reports on findings.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostic tests and results, ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and regulations.
- Support educational initiatives by assisting in the training of veterinary students and interns on poultry pathology procedures.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of avian anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a veterinary or laboratory setting, particularly with poultry.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques, diagnostic methods, and biosecurity practices.
- Desire to pursue further education or certifications in veterinary pathology or related disciplines.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
