Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Associate PMO Manager to join our dynamic Project Management Office (PMO). This role will be instrumental in supporting project governance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving project performance through effective communication and coordination among teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of project management methodologies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Support project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and resolution of any project-related issues.
- Monitor project performance metrics and prepare regular reports to assess project health and compliance with established standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
- Assist in the organization of PMO meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with portfolio management practices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools.
- Ability to analyze project data and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
