Role Overview
We are looking for a Chief Pit Steward to lead the operations of our gaming pits at [$COMPANY_NAME]. You will oversee the daily operations of the pit area, manage a team of stewards, and maintain strong relationships with both guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the gaming pits, ensuring compliance with all gaming regulations and company policies
- Lead and mentor a team of pit stewards, providing training and support to foster a culture of excellence and accountability
- Monitor gaming activities to ensure fair play and adherence to rules, addressing any discrepancies or guest concerns promptly
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving guest experience and increasing operational efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections of gaming equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of gaming activities and report any irregularities to upper management
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in gaming operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong understanding of gaming rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
Preferred:
- Experience in high-volume gaming environments
- Knowledge of gaming technology and related software systems
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with gaming management systems and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills to assess operations and implement improvements
