Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Manage workflow processes within the pharmacy to enhance efficiency and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations for pharmacy staff to promote professional development
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management and patient outcomes
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and compliance with safety protocols
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in [$COMPANY_LOCATION]
- 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance
