Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including regular cleaning of pet areas and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pet owners, offering updates and reassurance about their pets during your care
- Manage scheduling and logistics for pet visits, ensuring timely and reliable service
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and shared values
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience in pet care, such as pet sitting, dog walking, or veterinary assistance
- Strong knowledge of pet behavior and health, with the ability to recognize and respond to issues
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with pet owners
Preferred:
- Certification in pet first aid or CPR
- Experience with a variety of pet breeds and species, including special needs pets
- Knowledge of pet training techniques and behavior modification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with pet care management software or apps for scheduling and communication
- Basic knowledge of pet nutrition and dietary needs
- Ability to use social media and other platforms to engage with clients and promote services
