Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Dog Sitter to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and companionship to dogs in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to dogs, including feeding, walking, and playtime to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate regularly with pet owners to update them on their dog's status and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer medications as required and ensure dogs are on schedule with their health routines.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the dogs, ensuring that their living spaces are tidy and free from hazards.
- Observe and report any behavioral or health issues to the pet owners promptly.
- Build strong relationships with each dog, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure during your care.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Experience caring for dogs, whether as a pet owner, volunteer, or in a professional capacity.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and understand their needs.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs of varying sizes and temperaments with patience and care.
Preferred:
- Certification in pet first aid or training.
- Experience with dog training or behavior modification techniques.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific care requirements.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with pet care apps or platforms for scheduling and communication.
- Ability to use social media for sharing updates and photos with pet owners.
