Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Manager to lead our pediatric nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care in a fully remote environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the clinical operations, optimize care workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while fostering a culture of excellence and compassion in pediatric care.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the pediatric nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical best practices.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, promoting professional development and mentorship.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care plans and address complex cases effectively.
- Monitor clinical metrics and quality indicators, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements within pediatric nursing services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within pediatric nursing.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric nursing standards, practice guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience with telehealth services and remote nursing operations.
- Certification in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) or relevant management certification.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a remote working environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data and implement evidence-based practices.
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies and clinical audits.
