Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our fully remote healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients, utilizing your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality healthcare services and support to children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Formulate and implement individualized care plans that address the unique health needs of children.
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for chronic and acute pediatric conditions.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver care and maintain effective communication with patients and families.
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) and active nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric health issues and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
Preferred:
- Experience with telehealth delivery models and virtual patient management.
- Familiarity with pediatric behavioral health issues.
- Additional certifications in pediatric specialties (e.g., Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth software.
- Understanding of telemedicine best practices and remote patient monitoring technologies.
- Ability to navigate digital communication tools to enhance patient engagement.
