Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to lead our team of advanced practice providers. This role will be pivotal in developing and implementing best practices in pediatric care, enhancing patient outcomes, and fostering a collaborative environment across multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to a team of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to establish comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance for professional development and continuing education.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and senior management to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Analyze clinical data to identify trends and develop action plans for quality improvement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field with a focus on pediatric care.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and active state licensure.
- 5+ years of clinical experience in pediatrics, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing clinical programs that enhance patient care.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare policies, standards, and regulations.
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or related advanced degree.
- Experience with telehealth services and innovative care delivery models.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation tools.
- Experience with data analytics tools to inform clinical decision-making.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring technologies.
