Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Paint Line Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art paint application processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficiency, quality, and safety of our paint line operations, ensuring that all production standards are met while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the paint line, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for paint line efficiency, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to resolve any production issues
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance skills and knowledge of paint application techniques and safety protocols
- Develop and execute strategies for process improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards related to paint materials and processes
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in paint line management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of paint application processes and technologies
- Proven track record in managing and leading production teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred:
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices for hazardous materials management
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with paint application equipment and technology, including automated systems
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools for tracking performance
- Experience with quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC)
