Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Orthodontic Practice Owner to lead our state-of-the-art orthodontic clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the practice, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the orthodontic practice, including staff management, patient scheduling, and inventory control
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve practice goals, including patient growth and retention
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to dental practice
- Lead and mentor the clinical team to provide high-quality orthodontic care and excellent patient experiences
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, referring dentists, and the community
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontic technology and treatment methodologies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with a specialization in Orthodontics
- State dental license and board certification in Orthodontics
- 5+ years of experience in orthodontic practice, with proven leadership and management skills
- Strong understanding of orthodontic treatment planning and case management
Preferred:
- Experience owning or managing a dental practice
- Background in business management or dental practice administration
- Proficiency in digital orthodontic technologies, including 3D imaging and aligner therapy
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in orthodontic treatment techniques, including braces and clear aligners
- Familiarity with practice management software and digital imaging systems
- Knowledge of dental coding, billing, and insurance processes

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff
