Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or a related field with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in synthetic organic chemistry with a strong portfolio of publications and patents.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting complex synthetic challenges.
Preferred:
- Experience in drug discovery and development, with a solid understanding of medicinal chemistry principles.
- Familiarity with modern analytical techniques and instrumentation, including NMR, LC-MS, and HPLC.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively within a research environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry techniques, including but not limited to, reaction optimization, scale-up, and purification methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of cheminformatics tools and software for compound design and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with advanced analytical techniques to assess compound purity and identity.
