Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in broadcast directing or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of productions
- Proven track record in leading live broadcasts, including news, entertainment, or sports programming
- Comprehensive understanding of broadcast equipment and technologies
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams in high-pressure environments
Preferred:
- Experience with remote broadcasting technologies and live streaming platforms
- Familiarity with post-production editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer
- Knowledge of FCC regulations and compliance standards for broadcasting
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in broadcast production techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in operating broadcast hardware and software, including switchers, graphics systems, and audio mixers
- Understanding of emerging trends in broadcasting, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies
