Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Nursing Care Attendant to oversee and enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients. In this fully remote role, you will lead a team of nursing care attendants, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of nursing care attendants, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient health and wellbeing, documenting changes and coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Facilitate training sessions for new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Monitor the performance of nursing care attendants, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop protocols that enhance patient care and improve overall outcomes.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in nursing care or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and health regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a remote work environment
- Advanced training in patient care management or nursing leadership
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and virtual care tools
- Experience with EMR systems to document patient care effectively
- Basic knowledge of medical software applications and care planning tools
