Role Overview
As the Network Operations Manager at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will lead our network operations team to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality network services. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in network operations or network management roles
- Proven experience with network infrastructure technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and security protocols
- Strong understanding of network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
- Experience in managing a team and leading network-related projects
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols
- Proficiency in network security practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools
