Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Manager to lead our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, implementing best practices, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of neonatal nurse practitioners, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide mentorship, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery and improve patient outcomes
- Monitor and analyze clinical metrics to drive improvements in care quality and efficiency
- Engage with stakeholders to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with a specialization in Neonatology
- 5+ years of clinical experience in neonatal care, including leadership or management roles
- Strong clinical acumen and expertise in neonatal intensive care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or related field
- Experience in telehealth or remote care delivery models
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Familiarity with data analytics tools for monitoring clinical outcomes
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in neonatal care
