Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Regional Neighborhood Service Center Director to lead our efforts in enhancing community engagement and service delivery across our regional centers. This role is critical in driving strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs that positively impact our neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Regional Neighborhood Service Centers, aligning with organizational goals and community needs.
- Lead a diverse team of service center managers and staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders to enhance service delivery and outreach.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability of programs.
- Advocate for community needs and represent the organization in public forums, meetings, and events.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in community service management, program development, or a related area.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-informed decision making.
Preferred:
- Experience in a non-profit or public sector environment, especially within community services.
- Proficiency in grant writing and fundraising strategies to support program initiatives.
- Familiarity with community assessment tools and methods for evaluating service needs.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Experience with data analysis software or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Knowledge of community service programs, policies, and best practices.
