Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Neighborhood Service Center Director to support the strategic leadership and operational management of our community service initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with the Neighborhood Service Center Director to enhance service delivery, foster community engagement, and drive program improvements to meet the needs of our diverse population.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management and strategic direction of the Neighborhood Service Center, ensuring alignment with community goals and organizational objectives.
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community programs and services, promoting accessibility and inclusivity.
- Facilitate partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and residents to identify needs and develop effective solutions.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service center, ensuring high-quality service delivery and responsiveness to community needs.
- Engage in outreach activities to promote services and gather feedback from community members.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in community service management or a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of community needs assessment and program evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage diverse populations.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a leadership role within a non-profit or public service organization.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising strategies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
