Role Overview
As the Vice President of Community Services, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of our community engagement initiatives. You will lead the development and execution of innovative programs that enhance community well-being, ensuring alignment with our mission to foster social impact and build strong, inclusive communities.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive community services strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances community engagement and impact.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of community service professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for community programs, ensuring sustainability and effective resource allocation.
- Engage with community stakeholders, including local organizations, government agencies, and residents, to identify needs and collaborate on impactful solutions.
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess program effectiveness and drive improvements, ensuring that services meet community needs and organizational standards.
- Advocate for the organization’s mission within the community and at industry events, enhancing our visibility and influence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and operations, to amplify the reach and effectiveness of community initiatives.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 15+ years of experience in community services, social impact, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of community engagement principles and best practices, with experience in program development and evaluation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or government setting, with knowledge of funding mechanisms and community resources.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale community initiatives and manage complex projects.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and community engagement platforms to measure program impact and manage outreach efforts.
- Experience with CRM systems and project management software to track community initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
