Role Overview
We are seeking an Executive Director of Community Services who will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our community engagement initiatives. This role is critical in fostering relationships with community stakeholders, enhancing service delivery, and driving impactful programs that serve our diverse populations. You will oversee a dedicated team while ensuring alignment with our mission to promote social equity and community empowerment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community service strategies that align with organizational goals and foster strong community partnerships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
- Manage the budget for community services, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize impact.
- Drive program evaluation and improvement initiatives, leveraging data and community feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Advocate for community needs with local government, stakeholders, and other organizations to promote policies that benefit the community.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards governing community services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in community services or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful community programs and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of community needs assessment, program evaluation, and resource allocation.
Preferred:
- Experience in nonprofit management or social services administration.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising strategies to support community programs.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis tools for program evaluation and reporting.
- Experience with CRM and community engagement platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and budgeting processes.
