Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists to assess and interpret images, assisting in diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Educate patients about the MRI process, answering questions and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Document procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with departmental policies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
- Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- Strong understanding of MRI physics, equipment operations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a clinical setting, ideally with a concentration in MRI.
- Knowledge of advanced MRI techniques and protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in operating MRI machines and related imaging equipment.
- Ability to assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary.
- Experience with patient management software and EMR systems.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
