Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Motor Scooter Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain motor scooters, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our service reputation by delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in motor scooters using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other essential services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Oversee complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission work, and electrical system repairs, maintaining adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and implement best practices for repair processes.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used, ensuring compliance with company policies and warranty requirements.
- Provide expert advice to customers regarding repairs, maintenance schedules, and scooter care, fostering long-term customer relationships.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a motor scooter mechanic or in a similar role, with a strong focus on diagnostics and repairs.
- Advanced knowledge of scooter systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and braking systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes.
- Certification from a recognized automotive or motorcycle repair program.
Preferred:
- Experience with electric scooters and hybrid models.
- Familiarity with industry-leading diagnostic tools and software.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in various scooter brands and models, including maintenance and repair best practices.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscope devices.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to scooter maintenance and repair.
