Role Overview
As a Lead Mobility Scooter Technician at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will spearhead the technical operations associated with the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of mobility scooters. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in diagnosing and repairing mobility scooters, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance schedules and repair workflows to optimize operational efficiency and service quality.
- Implement advanced troubleshooting techniques for complex electrical and mechanical issues in mobility scooters.
- Conduct hands-on repairs, including battery replacements, motor repairs, and electronic system diagnostics.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including repair procedures, service manuals, and training materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and enhance product offerings.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical repair role, with a focus on mobility devices or similar equipment.
- Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical repair, including experience with complex electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of mobility scooter components, including batteries, motors, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a technical environment.
- Certifications related to mobility devices or electrical systems (e.g., Certified Mobility Consultant).
- Familiarity with customer service principles in a technical support context.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
