Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori School Director to lead our innovative educational program. As the School Director, you will oversee curriculum development, staff management, and community engagement, ensuring high standards of education and care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Montessori program, ensuring adherence to educational standards and Montessori philosophy.
- Develop and implement curriculum that promotes child-centered learning and holistic development.
- Recruit, train, and mentor teaching staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Engage with parents and the community to build strong relationships and support children's educational journeys.
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing strategies to enhance individual learning experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Montessori education.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within an educational setting, preferably in a Montessori environment.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and Montessori philosophy.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Montessori teaching certification or credential from an accredited institution.
- Experience with curriculum design and implementation in early childhood education.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and financial planning for educational programs.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with educational technologies that enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Experience in using data to inform instructional practices and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Proficient in administrative software and tools to manage school operations efficiently.
