Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate training and continuing education programs for staff to ensure up-to-date knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective patient care and streamline processes
- Manage inventory and supply chain for phlebotomy equipment and materials
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Address patient and staff concerns promptly and effectively to foster a positive work environment
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in phlebotomy with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Certification from a nationally recognized phlebotomy organization (e.g., ASCP, AAB)
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in phlebotomy procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and quality control processes
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and maintaining accurate records
