Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Microsoft Exchange Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will support the administration and management of Microsoft Exchange environments, ensuring seamless email communication and collaboration across the organization. Responsibilities
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange Servers and related services
- Support daily operational tasks such as user account management, mailbox provisioning, and permission assignments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, implementing necessary adjustments to optimize operations
- Collaborate with senior administrators on system upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Document technical procedures and processes to ensure knowledge transfer within the IT team
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting email-related issues effectively and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or administration, preferably with Microsoft Exchange or similar email systems
- Basic understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online and Office 365 environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of administrative tasks
- Knowledge of email security practices and compliance standards
- Certifications related to Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 (e.g., MCSA) are a plus

- Understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server architecture and components
