Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Exchange Architect to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Exchange environments. Your expertise will help streamline communication and collaboration for our enterprise clients, ensuring operational excellence and security in their email systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable Microsoft Exchange solutions tailored to client needs while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Lead the migration of on-premises Exchange environments to Exchange Online, employing best practices for minimal disruption.
- Assess existing Exchange environments and recommend performance enhancements and configuration optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Exchange with other enterprise applications and services.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and operational procedures.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex Exchange-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience architecting and managing Microsoft Exchange environments, including Exchange Online and on-premises versions.
- In-depth knowledge of Exchange architecture, including Active Directory integration and security protocols.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of Exchange tasks and reporting.
- Proven track record of successful Exchange migrations and upgrades.
Preferred:
- Experience with hybrid Exchange environments and Azure Active Directory.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to email systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange, including Exchange Online, Exchange Server 2016/2019, and Exchange Management Shell.
- Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory management.
- Strong understanding of email security protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Microsoft 365 Compliance Center and Exchange Online Protection.
