Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in metallurgy or materials engineering.
- Proven expertise in metallurgical processes, materials characterization, and failure analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Preferred:
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and additive manufacturing processes.
- Professional certifications, such as Certified Metallurgist or equivalent.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of metallurgical principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and materials behavior.
- Proficiency in materials characterization techniques such as SEM, XRD, and EDS.
- Experience with simulation software for materials processing and mechanical testing.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
