Role Overview

Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- PhD or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in metallography or materials characterization
- Proven expertise in optical and electron microscopy techniques, including SEM, TEM, and EDS
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis software and statistical tools
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced materials testing methods, including mechanical and thermal analysis
- Familiarity with failure analysis methodologies and materials selection processes
- Demonstrated ability to publish research findings and present at industry conferences
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Advanced knowledge of metallography techniques and material characterization methods
- Proficient with microscopy tools, data acquisition systems, and analysis software (e.g., ImageJ, MATLAB)
- Experience with laboratory management and compliance protocols
