Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and experienced VP of Mental Health Programs to lead our innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health services and accessibility. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive mental health programs that align with our mission to promote well-being and foster resilience in communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for mental health programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, and refine mental health initiatives, focusing on evidence-based practices and innovative solutions.
- Establish partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to expand program reach and effectiveness.
- Oversee program budgets, resources, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery and sustainability of mental health initiatives.
- Advocate for mental health awareness, policy changes, and funding opportunities to support program growth and accessibility.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the organization and among stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mental health program development and management, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of mental health policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven track record of developing successful mental health initiatives that demonstrate measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build strong relationships.
Preferred:
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with underserved populations and addressing health disparities.
- Familiarity with grant writing and funding processes for mental health initiatives.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis and program evaluation methodologies.
- Experience with mental health assessment tools and digital health technologies.
- Knowledge of project management software and tools for tracking program performance.
