Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Marriage Counselor to join our team, where you will play a critical role in fostering healthy relationships and enhancing communication between couples. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' relationship dynamics and individual concerns to develop tailored counseling plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate sessions, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional healing.
- Guide couples in understanding and addressing underlying issues that impact their relationship, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor progress and adapt counseling strategies as needed to ensure effective outcomes for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients regarding relationship dynamics, emotional intelligence, and effective communication strategies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in marriage counseling or couple's therapy.
- Strong understanding of relationship dynamics and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Preferred:
- Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Gottman Method.
- Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions or workshops focused on relationship improvement.
- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural influences on relationships.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools for remote counseling.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and management.
- Understanding of therapeutic assessment tools and techniques.
