Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Director of Marriage and Family Therapy to lead our clinical team. This role will provide strategic direction and oversight for our therapeutic programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering an environment of growth and collaboration among staff. You will champion the integration of innovative therapeutic modalities and advocate for the mental health needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of licensed marriage and family therapists, providing clinical supervision and mentorship to enhance their professional development.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of therapy programs, ensuring alignment with best practice standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Oversee the development of treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual client needs and based on evidence-based practices.
- Foster collaborative relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and referral sources to promote program visibility and client engagement.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state.
- 7+ years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and treatment approaches relevant to diverse populations.
Preferred:
- Experience in program development and implementation within a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and data analysis.
- Advanced training in trauma-informed care or similar therapeutic approaches.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to assess program outcomes and client progress.
- Ability to implement and utilize data tracking systems for program evaluation.
