Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in marine electronics installation and troubleshooting
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of marine communication and navigation systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different locations as required
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced marine technologies such as autopilots and integrated navigation systems
- Industry certifications related to marine electronics (e.g., NMEA, ABYC)
- Knowledge of software used for marine electronic system diagnostics and configuration
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Hands-on experience with marine electronics brands such as Garmin, Raymarine, or Furuno
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
- Understanding of network configurations, including NMEA 2000 and Ethernet-based systems
