Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our logistics operations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and on time. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners to negotiate rates and optimize freight costs
- Develop and maintain logistics metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Implement and maintain best practices in logistics and supply chain management to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address logistics challenges and support organizational goals
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in logistics software platforms (e.g., TMS, WMS)
- Experience with data analysis tools to monitor logistics performance
- Ability to leverage technology to streamline logistics processes
