Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Audiology to lead our audiology department. In this pivotal role, you'll drive clinical excellence, enhance patient care, and spearhead initiatives that advance our mission of improving hearing health. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices, optimize patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of audiology programs and services that align with organizational goals and patient needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of audiologists and support staff, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous professional development.
- Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate innovative audiological technologies and practices.
- Utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Advocate for patient-centered care by building strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in audiology.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in audiology, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of audiology practices, regulations, and technologies.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful audiology programs.
Preferred:
- Experience with tele-audiology or digital health solutions.
- Board Certification in Audiology (e.g., CCC-A, ABA).
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in audiological assessment and rehabilitation techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and data management tools.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
