Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Junior Clinical Audiologist to join our innovative healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will have the opportunity to support audiological services and patient care through effective assessments and the implementation of treatment plans, contributing to our mission of enhancing hearing health and improving the quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audiometric assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry, to evaluate patients' hearing abilities
- Assist in developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs
- Provide counseling to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and treatment options
- Collaborate with experienced audiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Audiology or a related field
- Strong interest in clinical audiology and commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting, including internships or volunteer work
- Familiarity with audiological equipment and software
- Basic knowledge of hearing rehabilitation practices
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Understanding of audiometric testing procedures and protocols
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations
