Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Lamp Operator to oversee our lamp production processes and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading a team of lamp operators, managing production schedules, and implementing best practices to optimize performance and workflow.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of lamp operators, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of lamp products.
- Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for lamp production processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on lamp production techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in lamp production or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing production teams and achieving operational targets.
- Strong knowledge of lamp manufacturing processes and industry standards.
Preferred:
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical certifications related to lamp production or manufacturing.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining lamp production machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to analyze production data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
