Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Kinesiotherapist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in kinesiology to develop, implement, and assess therapeutic exercise programs tailored to enhance the physical functionality and overall well-being of our clients. Your work will play a critical role in improving mobility, strength, and quality of life for individuals recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop personalized therapeutic exercise plans.
- Deliver one-on-one therapeutic sessions, guiding clients through exercises and monitoring their progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design integrated treatment plans that address clients' specific health needs.
- Educate clients on the principles of kinesiology, injury prevention, and the importance of physical activity in their recovery process.
- Utilize technology to track and analyze client progress, adjusting programs as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress within the electronic health record system.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Kinesiotherapist or equivalent professional credential.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those with physical disabilities or chronic health conditions.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
- Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Familiarity with adaptive exercise techniques and assistive devices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) software.
- Knowledge of telehealth platforms for virtual client assessments and sessions.
- Experience with fitness and rehabilitation technologies, including wearable devices and monitoring applications.
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Empathy and patience, with a strong commitment to client-centered care.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of care.
