Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Job Placement Manager to oversee our recruitment strategies and manage the placement of candidates into suitable job opportunities. This role is crucial in fostering relationships with employers and understanding their staffing needs, while also guiding candidates through the placement process to ensure successful employment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective job placement strategies to connect candidates with employment opportunities that match their skills and career goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and employers to understand their workforce requirements and identify suitable candidates
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills, qualifications, and job readiness
- Provide career coaching and support to candidates, including resume writing and interview preparation
- Utilize data-driven approaches to track placement outcomes and improve placement processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for candidates into their new roles
- Monitor labor market trends and employment statistics to inform job placement strategies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, job placement, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in various industries
- Strong understanding of labor market trends and employment regulations
Preferred:
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
- Certification in career coaching or related credentials
- Experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and job boards
- Strong analytical skills to assess placement data and outcomes
- Familiarity with social media recruiting strategies
