Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Job Placement Manager to lead our initiatives in connecting candidates with employment opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations. This role is pivotal in enhancing our placement processes and ensuring a seamless experience for both job seekers and employers, while championing diversity and inclusion in the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive job placement strategies that meet the needs of diverse populations and industries.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with employers to facilitate job placements and workforce development initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of candidates' skills, qualifications, and career goals to provide tailored job placement solutions.
- Oversee the job placement process, ensuring timely follow-up with candidates and employers to drive successful placements.
- Utilize data analytics to track placement metrics, identify trends, and inform decision-making for continuous improvement.
- Lead outreach efforts to attract a diverse candidate pool, employing innovative strategies to engage underrepresented groups.
- Provide coaching and support to candidates, helping them prepare for interviews and navigate the job market effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and labor market developments to enhance job placement strategies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in job placement, workforce development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of labor market trends and employer needs in various industries.
- Proven track record of successful candidate placements and relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience working with job seekers from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to employment and equal opportunity.
- Certification in career coaching or workforce development is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job placement software.
- Experience with data analytics tools to assess placement outcomes and inform strategies.
- Strong knowledge of digital recruitment platforms and social media recruiting strategies.
