Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Inventory Control Coordinator to join the supply chain team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Support the team in identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
- Help maintain an organized inventory storage area, ensuring efficient retrieval processes
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate timely replenishment of stock
- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to the Inventory Control Manager
- Participate in the development and implementation of inventory control best practices
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies
Preferred:
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis functions
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices
- Experience with database management and reporting tools
