Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief of Internal Medicine to lead our internal medicine department in transforming patient care and advancing clinical excellence. As a pivotal member of our executive leadership team, you will establish strategic direction, and foster innovation in clinical practices that enhance patient outcomes across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal medicine strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and vision.
- Lead and mentor a team of internal medicine professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, performance, and continuous learning.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Oversee clinical operations, including patient care protocols, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for clinical research, education, and community outreach.
- Represent the internal medicine department in executive meetings, contributing to organizational strategy and policy development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with a track record of driving clinical excellence.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, payer policies, and clinical guidelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Preferred:
- Experience in an academic medical center or large healthcare system.
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
