Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced International Student Services Manager to oversee and enhance support services for our diverse international student population. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives to improve student engagement, retention, and success while fostering an inclusive environment that respects cultural diversity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive support programs tailored to the unique needs of international students, including orientation, advising, and cultural integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with academic departments and student organizations to promote international student engagement and success.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing programs, utilizing data-driven insights to recommend improvements.
- Provide expert guidance on immigration regulations, compliance, and policies affecting international students.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and faculty on best practices for supporting international students.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international students, addressing inquiries and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in higher education, international relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in international student services or a similar role within a higher education institution.
- Thorough understanding of immigration regulations and policies impacting international students.
Preferred:
- Experience in program development and assessment related to international education.
- Familiarity with cross-cultural communication and diversity initiatives.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and CRM tools.
- Strong data analysis skills to measure program effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Experience in developing digital resources and online platforms to support international students.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
