Role Overview
The Industrial Robotics Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of advanced robotic systems within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, ensuring that our robotic operations meet production targets and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians to execute preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems and associated equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies that enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in maintenance operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize robotic processes and implement upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for all robotic systems
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on robotics
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of robotic systems, PLCs, and industrial automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Preferred:
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Relevant certifications in robotics or maintenance management
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of robotics maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and tools
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial context
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS)
