Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Hyperion Developer to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of Hyperion applications, supporting our financial planning and analysis processes. You will work closely with senior developers and stakeholders to gain hands-on experience while contributing to critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Hyperion applications to meet business requirements
- Support the configuration and maintenance of Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management systems
- Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Conduct testing and validation of Hyperion applications to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Document technical processes and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Hyperion applications and their functionalities
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Internship or academic project experience with Hyperion or similar enterprise performance management tools
- Knowledge of Essbase and data modeling concepts
- Experience with Oracle databases and tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Basic proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems
- Familiarity with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, and Essbase
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
