Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced OBIEE Architect to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Business Intelligence solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). You will leverage your deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics to deliver insightful reports and dashboards that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust OBIEE solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models that meet business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and BI solutions
- Implement best practices in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance to ensure data quality and reliability
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Monitor system performance and optimize OBIEE configurations for high availability and scalability
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending enhancements to improve BI capabilities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in OBIEE architecture and development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Talend) and data warehouse design
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced analytics
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and architectures
- Oracle certifications related to OBIEE or data warehousing
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and manipulation
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of BI applications
