Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Teradata Architect to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering best practices in data architecture and analytics.
- Stay current with Teradata advancements and industry trends, translating them into actionable strategies for the organization.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design, with a strong focus on Teradata systems.
- Proven experience in designing and optimizing Teradata data warehouse solutions.
- Strong understanding of SQL and Teradata-specific SQL extensions, as well as ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in Teradata architecture, including data modeling, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Proficient in SQL, performance tuning, and Teradata utilities (e.g., BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, etc.).
- Understanding of data integration tools and processes, preferably with Informatica or Talend.
