Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Administrator to support our HR team in managing day-to-day HR operations. In this role, you will assist in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate and assist in employee engagement activities and training programs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics for management
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred:
- 1+ year of experience in an administrative role, preferably within HR
- Familiarity with HR software and databases
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR management systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)
