Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this fully remote position, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring the implementation of effective HR practices that support our mission and values. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational performance and foster a cohesive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract, select, and onboard top talent
- Manage employee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employees
- Design and implement employee engagement programs to enhance workplace satisfaction
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while updating company policies as needed
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related issues, providing insights and recommendations
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and potential
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a remote work environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Experience with HRIS and other HR technology solutions
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in HR software and tools (e.g., applicant tracking systems, performance management systems)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello)
