Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and will involve managing administrative tasks to facilitate effective HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding processes, and maintaining employee records
- Assist in the preparation of HR documents, reports, and presentations
- Manage the HR information system (HRIS) by entering and updating employee data accurately
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings and tracking applications
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve overall HR service delivery
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within Human Resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Preferred:
- Experience using HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Basic understanding of HR principles and employment laws
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
- Familiarity with virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
